NSWTA Regional Review Recommendations

Sydney Scorpions thank NSWTA and the Board for the professional manner in which the regional review was conducted. This includes the initial feedback process in which regions/affiliates were engaged, leading to the Board review and recommendations made which can be viewed here:

Whilst it is disappointing to lose Parramatta who have been a great contributor to our success, we are extremely pleased to keep Hills Hornets within our region. Scorpions also lose Westmead, who along with Parramatta will now be under the Sydney Mets. These changes will not impact any of our junior players involved in the 2021 National Youth Championships. All current NTL players from Parramatta and Westmead will still be able to represent Scorpions under the TFA “home grown” rule and also under the regional review recommendation as “incumbent” Scorpions players.
