Scorps Fitness Drills

With the return to Touch Football just around the corner, Sydney Scorpions High Performance Unit have released a series of three fitness drills.  The purpose of the drills is to act as a primer for standardising fitness testing for Scorpions, so that as a region we can establish reliable and valid benchmarks over a range of age groups.  The drills will now become standard at our annual Junior Elite Camp for all age divisions. The videos also empower players and coaches to carry out these drills at their local affiliate training sessions and additionally on their own. The drills can be accessed via Sydney Scorpions new Knowledge Base and additionally via Scorps YouTube channel. The fitness drills include the Sprint Drill (Acceleration & Speed), Illinois Drill (Change of Direction) and Bronco Drill (Maximum Aerobic Speed).
