Strong communication to our members is vital for success and as such to assist in this area is the appointment of the Sydney Scorpions Communications Manager. The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure strong communication via the Sydney Scorpions website and social media outlets. These current social media pages include Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram.


  1. This non-Executive committee position will be appointed / reappointed at the Annual General Meeting each year
  2. Actively promote the positive aspects of Sydney Scorpions activities, its principles, objectives and aims and at all times, where possible highlighting our support of the Sydney Scorpions Code of Conduct, NSWTA Code of Conduct, TFA’s safety policies, rules, regulations and guidelines
  3. Assist the committee in creating a positive public awareness of Sydney Scorpions and its activities
  4. Ensure that the Sydney Scorpions website and social media pages remain contemporary and informative
  5. Ensure that all links to documents, NSWTA, TFA and other organisations remain operational
  6. Assist in the sourcing of articles, stories, interviews, photos and profiles etc. for inclusion on the website and via our social media pages
  7. Perform any other related duties as required by the committee
