2019 Scorpions Highlights Video

As the year comes to a close what a huge 10 years of development and growth it’s been for Sydney Scorpions. In 2019 we took out another NTL Golden Boot Champion Permit, now holding an outright lead of 8-7 over the mighty South Queensland Sharks. Additionally we won our 10th successive Junior Regional Champion Permit and as such we continue to hold both state junior and national open/senior champion permit titles. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our culture and success over this sustained period of time. So much to look forward to in 2020 here are the extended highlights of our 2019 Junior Regional and NTL campaigns.  Stronger Together again in 2020 and beyond! #goscorps

Scorpions 2020 Junior Regionals

Sydney Scorpions will shortly be calling for player Expressions of Interest (EOI) for our 2020 NSWTA Junior Regional squads and Junior Elite Camp. In an effort to create even greater partnerships with our affiliates, our selectors will be working with affiliate coaches to obtain feedback on their players which we will then combine with our own TalentID information. Our Scorpions Junior Elite Camp will act as our primary selection trial for all age groups to be held at the Sydney Sports Academy, Narrabeen on 21-22 March 2020 (times to be provided shortly). Additionally our Boys & Girls U16/U18 final teams will be taking part in our new Scorpions Elite Athlete Strength & Conditioning Program with further details to be released in coming weeks. Our 2020 Junior Regional coaches continue to be a strong mix of experienced and developing leaders who will be looking to get the best out of their teams at the Junior Regional event on 2-3 May at the Central Coast Regional Sporting & Recreation Complex, Tuggerah. Further information including the 2020 junior representative pathway timelines can be found via Scorps calendar can be found via
