NTL 2011 Coaching Nominations 04/07/10
 The Sydney Scorpions are calling for suitably qualified applicants to fill the following divisions in the roles of Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Managers for the 2011 National Touch League: 

Men's Opens, Women's Opens, Mixed Opens, Women's 40's, Senior Mixed, Men's 30's, Men's 40's, Men's 50's (TFA has decided there will be no 20's divisions at this tournament)

The NTL is to be held at Port Macquarie in March 2011. Applicants should address the criteria for position when applying. Details of criteria of all positions can be found here.  All applications must be in writing addressed to the Coaching Director – Bruce Ager bager@bigpond.net.au and close on 4th August 2010 . Positions will be announced via the website on the 10th August 2010. Successful coaches should make themselves available for a Scorpions meeting on Thursday 19th August 1830 hrs at Hawks Bowling Club.

Applicants will be selected via the following policy by the Coaching and Technical Director and referred on to the Sydney Scorpions Executive for ratification. The successful applicants will hold the position for the term up to and including the 2012 National Touch League.

Masters Trans Tasman Award 16/06/10
Congratulations to Sydney Scorpions Director of Referees Bill Slade who was awarded Best Referee at the recent Masters Trans Tasman tournament.  This is a great achievement, well done Bill.
